Though Cameron Isaiah Allen's name has the initials "C.I.A" he is no agent of the Central Intelligence Agency. He is instead, a 20-year-old mass communications major from Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.

Allen was born on Dec. 17, 1998. He attended Wando High school which is located in Mount Pleasant , South Carolina. He graduated from there with 1000 students in his class.

Allen's parents, Michael and Tonya Allen, are both alumni's of South Carolina State University. Allen's dad was a history major and his mom was a criminal justice major. So you could say the apple doesn't fall far from the tree now that Cameron attends SCSU.

In fact, Allen knew at an early age that he wouldn't attend any other college but SCSU.When asked why he came there he responded, " My parents! My dad knows damn near everybody here at SCSU. He's on a first name basis with the president and I know he's cool with James E. Clyburn."

"Ever since I can remember my mom always told me I was going there, no matter where I got accepted to she always told me I was going to South Carolina State,"Allen said, "In the first year I didn't like state but now I like it and wouldn't want to be anywhere else."

Allen originally wanted to go to Winthrop University after he graduated. He wanted to go because he liked it when he visited once and its close to Charlotte where he would like to work.

Allen knew he wanted to be a communications major his freshmen year in High School. When his teacher asked him what he wanted to do then, he wasn't sure of the answer until she mentioned sports. She asked if he would want to be a sport's broadcaster or sport's reporter and he responded, " I guess I would, I kind of like the Tv and I heard I have a good voice for Tv and radio."

His plans after college consist of being a sport's broadcaster working for the Carolina Panthers, which is his favorite team. He believes he has to start working at a local new station until he can work his way up to being employed by the Carolina Panthers.

Allen is inspired mostly by Charles Davis which is a sports analyst. He looks up to him because he likes his voice.

" Honestly this might sound weird but I like his voice. He has a very unique voice and hopefully I can manipulate my voice so that it can be unique too," Allen said.

Allen's short term goal is to graduate from college and his long term goal is to be a successful black man and positive influencer.

When asked what success meant to him Allen responded, "A lot of people like to equate success with money but I'd like to equate success with how you are as a person and how people think of you."
